Please follow the instructions in to uninstall it, and then install. Last updated: Oct 13, 2017 ISSUE Custom form script is now disabled by default and requires setting registry keys to re-enable it. The new registry key has a default value of 1, which indicates form script should not run. First create this key: 32 bit Office on 64 bit Windows HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE WOW6432Node Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Security 32 bit Office on 32 bit Windows or 64 bit Office on 64 bit Windows HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Security Then create DWORD (32-bit) Value 0 and set the name to DisableCustomFormItemScript to enable custom form scripts. Once custom form scripts have been enabled at all, they must then be enabled per form message class. For instance, if you have a form with the message class IPM.Note.Custom, we must register “ IPM.Note.Custom” as a trusted form message class.
To do this, first create this key: 32 bit Office on 64 bit Windows HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE WOW6432Node Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Forms TrustedFormScriptList 32 bit Office on 32 bit Windows or 64 bit Office on 64 bit Windows HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Forms TrustedFormScriptList Then, create REGSZ values in this key for each form you wish to allow scripts to run. In the above example, you would create a REGSZ value named “ IPM.Note.Custom” with empty data. When designing a form, Run This Form will run a form using the message class of the base form.
So if you started designing an IPM.Note form and want to Run This Form, you will need to have IPM.Note registered. After you publish, the published message class is what will be checked. Once you have finished designing your form and published it to a custom form name, remove the standard “IPM.Note” from the trusted list. Notes:. You need to restart Outlook after setting the TrustedFormScriptList key.
The example registry keys use 16.0 for Outlook 2016. Use 15.0 for Outlook 2013, 14.0 for Outlook 2010 and 12.0 for Outlook 2007. After making the above changes the registry keys will look like the following: HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE WOW6432Node Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Security DisableCustomFormItemScript'=dword:00000000 HKEYLOCALMACHINE SOFTWARE WOW6432Node Microsoft Office 16.0 Outlook Forms TrustedFormScriptList 'IPM.Note.Custom'=' 'IPM.Note'=' NOTE: In some cases forms in secondary mailboxes and Public folders still don't work after the registry key settings. To fix this, enable scripts in the Trust Center:.
Click File Options. Then select Trust Center Trust Center Settings Email Security. Under the Script in Folders section, click the checkbox for Allow script in shared folders and Allow script in Public folders and click OK and OK again to close out the windows. STATUS The change was first introduced in the September 12th, 2017 Outlook Public Updates and is included in the following MSI updates which now require the registry keys. Click to Run status is as follows:. Monthly Channel (Current Channel) will start supporting the registry keys in the update scheduled for September 18th release build 16.0.8431.2079. Semi-Annual Channel (FRDC) supports the registry keys with build 16.0.8431.2079.
Deferred Channel supports the registry keys with build 16.0.8201.2193. Deferred Extended status is TBD. Insider Fast status is TBD. Insider Slow supports the registry keys with build 16.0.8431.2079. ACTION REQUIRED: Reconnect Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2013 to Outlook.com for uninterrupted email access Earlier this year we introduced the new Outlook.com, which helps you focus on what matters, collaborate effortlessly, and get more done.
As part of the upgrade, we are also moving accounts to a more secure and reliable infrastructure. The upgrade impacts all Outlook, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email accounts. Once your Outlook.com account has been upgraded, you’ll need to reconnect Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2013 to your Outlook.com account to ensure the best experience and fix issues. To check if your account has been upgraded, login to your account through a web browser and compare your mailbox with the images below.
Mailbox Pre-Upgrade Mailbox Post-Upgrade If you do not reconnect your upgraded email account, you will soon no longer be able to send or receive Outlook.com emails via your desktop version of Outlook 2016 and 2013 until you reconnect. Additionally, by not reconnecting, you may experience email and calendar sync issues that will be resolved once you reconnect. You will still be able to send and receive emails via the web on. For detailed instructions and help on how to reconnect your account, please visit this. ISSUE After connecting to Outlook for Windows (Outlook 2016, 2013, 2010 versions) to your Outlook.com email account, your may experience the following:. Your email account name shows up as outlooklong series of letters and [email protected] in the Folder Pane and when composing emails using Outlook for Windows.
Recipients will also receive the email from the sender with the outlooklong series of letters and [email protected] format. When recipients reply to the email, the email bounces and you may receive the message “Undeliverable message when you send Internet mail in Outlook.” This issue only impacts customers using Outlook for Windows. Emails sent via Outlook.com on the web works correctly and emails will be sent with the correct email address. STATUS The Outlook client does not currently support using a non Microsoft domain primary alias. For the time being to get the account to work in Outlook you need to change the primary alias to a Microsoft domain account, such as @outlook.com or @hotmail.com. The Outlook Team is doing work that will enable some supported use of aliases in the near future. We will update this topic as soon as the functionality is available.
WORKAROUND This issue occurs for users with multiple account aliases. We are actively working on a fix. In the meantime, to fix this issue, please do the following: Note: If you do not have another alias, click the link on the page to create one 'Click Add email and a new alias'. Then choose the option 'Create a new email address and add it as an alias'.
Go to and sign in to your Outlook.com account. Set your Outlook.com email as the primary alias.
In Outlook for Windows, remove and re-add the account. See the steps in this article.
Last updated: February 8, 2017 ISSUE If Outlook is connected to a primary Outlook.com account that is also connected to other secondary non-Microsoft accounts (such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc.), when sending an email in Outlook, you are not able to choose the other secondary connected account as the 'From' sending account. If you manually type in the secondary connected account email address in the 'From' field, the email is sent as 'On behalf of' your primary Outlook.com account. STATUS: WORKAROUND Outlook supports sending from a secondary connected account for Microsoft owned domains such as @outlook.com, @live.com, @hotmail.com but has not implemented this functionality for third-party domains. The Outlook team is listening to your feedback and investigating adding this functionality to future updates. Please vote up the request and add any feedback on UserVoice:.
In the meantime, please use the following workaround: WORKAROUND You can also add the secondary connected accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) in Outlook.com as additional accounts in the Outlook profile. In Outlook, choose the File tab. Under Account Information, choose Add Account. On the Auto Account Setup page, enter your name, email address, and password, and then choose Next.
Last updated: January 24, 2017 ISSUE When connecting in Outlook as an Exchange account, you are unable to configure your personal custom domain email account. WORKAROUND. to your DNS settings at your domain registrar.
A CNAME record is needed for Outlook to configure the account using Autodiscover. The only record you need to add is for Host Autodiscover. Record type Host Points to TTL CNAME (Alias) autodiscover autodiscover.outlook.com 1 hour. Verify your MX record is still configured for Hotmail. An MX record ensures you can receive email from other people.
When you originally setup your Domain settings for Outlook.com an MX record was added to your DNS settings. This record has some unique numbers and/or letters followed by.pamx1.hotmail.com and it needs to be preserved. You can confirm the MX record is still configured properly by looking up your domain at. This record should be listed before any other MX records for this domain. For example, this is what it should look like on: Pref Hostname IP Address TTL 10 60 min.

Another workaround is to, and add your accounts to the new profile. We recommend keeping the old profile until you know you have moved over any local data or PST files. Vulnerability information (applies to all versions) MAPI does not validate that a provider’s DLL that it is requested to load is registered correctly in MapiSVC.inf or even that it comes from the local machine. This can be exploited by creating a file together with an OLE object in such a way to cause MAPI to load a DLL from a network share when the OLE object is activated. This can allow arbitrary code execution to occur. Last updated: November 29, 2017 ISSUE Outlook crashes when you click File Options, and you see the error below. Ok, my computer crashed.so everything is reinstalled, and i went to reinstall my palm software ( I had sync'ed with outlook previously). I went to sync and got the following errors: (I really need to get my contacts from my phone back to my outlook).
I tried changing the profile, but to no avail. I also tried HANDHELD OVERWRITES DESKTOP, but that didn't work either. Now there are 3 profiles in my hotsync manager, and nothing seems to be working. HotSync operation started for Jay Boy Adams on 09/26/06 09:00:10 OK Quick Install OK VersaMail OK Media Outlook Calendar This handheld is associated with a different Outlook profile. To synchronize with that profile, close Outlook and synchronize again. To use this device with the current Outlook profile, open the HotSync custom dialog and change the conduit settings to use this Outlook profile. See the Outlook conduit help for details.
I believe all of the errors are caused by the OLERR problem. A search for Palm OLERR will show this to be hard to pin down because it can be caused by many different bugs in OL. The two best fixes that I Know of is to go to windows/system32 directory, rename the mapi32.dll file and doubleclick on the fixmapi.exe file. This has been reported to fix the OLERR errors. If that does not work, exit Outlook, find and rename the current PST file, start Outlook (which creates a new PST file) and import the data from the old PST file. If these do not work, please post back for more help as many things can be tried.

Outlook sync problem Outlook Conduit Treo 650 Outlook not supported This message describes a fix for the dreaded, oft-cursed OLERR error when sync'ing with Outlook. Yesterday, I ran an update for my op. System (XP media edition) including several Microsoft Office updates. When I tried to sync my Treo 650, the log reported that the Outlook sync's had failed (listing the OLERR errors).
When I tried to change the sync options, a dialog box said that the Outlook conduits did not support my version of Outlook, even though it was one of the versions listed as being supported. After searching the net, I found that this problem has plagued many users.
I cannot speak for all, but I am pretty sure the Microsoft Update somehow tweaked my sync/Outlook settings. After reading many suggestions about deleting and reinstalling, etc., I decided to try a system restore. I had a system restore point from the day before, and after restoring, it all worked fine. I know this fix may not save everyone, but it worked for me. I am a casual observer in these realms. For any of you power-palmer-post-a-lots, I would ask that you copy this post around so the word gets out. The delete and reinstall fixes that are recommended on other sites are pretty drastic.
System restore may not fix everyone's problems, but it is easy and may work.
